LIVE WEDDING PAINTING

HOW IT WORKS

A live wedding painting experience involves hiring an artist to attend the wedding, set up in the venue space, and capture a special moment of the ceremony or reception on a canvas. This is done live in front of the guests for all to enjoy. The painting typically includes the bride and groom, the venue, decorations, and/or guests.
 
WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Painting of wedding ceremony or reception. Standard size is 24"x30".

• Travel up to 60 miles from Auburn, AL.

• 2-3 hours of studio time to complete the painting.

PRIOR TO THE WEDDING DAY

I discuss preferences with the bride and groom including whether they would like the reception or ceremony painted. The couple can advise as to which scene they would like painted, or I can advise based on previous experience.

ON THE WEDDING DAY

I arrive approximately 2 hours prior to set up my creative space, and begin laying out a loose composition. As guests arrive, I will begin developing the details of the scene including the people, lighting and atmosphere. The painting experience will continue through the end of the reception. The painting will be an expression of the event more than a realistic rendering allowing the atmosphere to determine the direction of the painting. The bride and groom will receive a beautiful painting to hang in their home and serve as a memory of their first day as a married couple!

HOW MUCH IS A LIVE WEDDING PAINTING?

Pricing starts at $1500 for a 24"x30" painting. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining amount due when the painting is finished. After your final approval of the painting, the remainder of the fee is due in full. You will receiving more accurate pricing when you inquire including painting size and travel.
