LIVE EVENT PAINTING

Live painting delights guests and makes a statement that will have them talking all night. A live painting experience involves hiring an artist to attend the event, set up in the venue space, and capture a wedding, banquet or party. This is done live in front of the guests for all to enjoy. The painting typically includes a special moment, the venue, decorations, and/or guests.
LIVE EVENT PAINTING
I arrive approximately 2 hours prior to set up my creative space, and begin laying out a loose composition. As guests arrive, I will begin developing the details of the scene including the people, lighting and atmosphere. The painting experience will continue through the end of the reception. The painting will be an expression of the event more than a realistic rendering allowing the atmosphere to determine the direction of the painting. You will receive a beautiful 24"x30" gallery wrapped painting to hang in your home or office and serve as a memory of the special day!  
  • $1,000 for 6-8 Hours of on-site painting for guests to enjoy.
  • Travel up to 60 miles from Auburn, AL.
  • 2-3 hours of studio time to complete the painting.
LIVE GUEST PAINTING
What a fun favor to gift your guests, friends and family! Capturing these little snapshots on the most special day of your life brings me such joy! I arrive 1 hour before the reception and set up my station with watercolor paper, professional grade English watercolors, and waterproof pens. During your reception, guests swing by my table and I will snap a quick photo and use it for reference while I paint a custom 5"x7" portrait. 
  • $600 for 3-4 hours
  • Travel up to 60 miles from Auburn, AL.
  • 7-10 portraits in an hour, depending on number of people in the painting.
  • Each portrait is signed by the artist and sealed in protective plastic for your guests  to take home.
PRIOR TO THE EVENT
I discuss preferences with the bride and groom including what to expect, moment they would like to capture and details to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. I arrive approximately 1-2 hours prior to set up my creative space. As guests arrive, I will begin developing the details of the details of the people, space or moment. The painting experience will continue through the end of the reception. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining amount due at the end of the event or when the painting is finished. You will receiving more accurate pricing when you inquire including painting size and travel.
